xXxDescription:
Descended from a long line of purebred Maine Coons, a pure line that his mother ended, it is not considered odd that Glacierpaw's fur is long and his tail fluffy. Gray fur the color of stone sticks up in a sort of organized chaos. Small streaks of white are clearly visible against his gray coat, making him appear like a snow-covered rock. His fur is medium length and appears almost shaggy. Around his neck is a thick mane of fur. He has long hairs on the back of his legs and between his toes, warming them in the winter. His gray tail is long and bushy, the hairs spreading off it in a way that mirrors feathers.Personality:
His head is broad and angular, with a squared off muzzle that holds a small gray-pink nose. His wide-set ears stand atop his head with small tufts of fur at the tips that give them the appearance of lynx ears. On his forehead is a distinct 'M'-shaped marking that is known to be the sign of a tabby cat. His eyes are a cold icy blue that seem to pierce you like an icicle. They have never been known to soften or to show any emotion, instead watching you with an emotionless hue of blue.
His eyes describe his personality, as does his name. As a kit, he watched, never participating in the games of LakeClan against the rogues or dreamt of becoming a warrior. He spoke rarely until the age of six moons. Now, when he talks, it is usually a barbed answer to an innocent question. He distances himself from everyone else, listening and speaking only when spoken too, unless a comment comes to mind and he cannot resist the temptation. He doesn't appear angry. He doesn't appear sad, and certainly he's never looked truly happy. A smile has never graced his features, an laugh never having escaped from his mouth, a tear never known to have fallen. His heart is guarded carefully in a prison of ice. A frozen castle protecting its treasure.History:
His parents met during a Gathering. At first, his mother thought him to be of another Clan, but then, she realized he was a loner. This didn't stop her though. With this cat, a tom named Winter, she felt something she'd never felt before: Love. So she met him in secret for four moons. After four moons of meeting Gelding in secrets she discovered she was having kits, his kits.Role Playing Example:
She confessed to her best friend who had discovered only a few suns before she too was expecting, to pretend the kit was hers. Her friend, whose name was Hazecloud, looked rather similar to her as she too had the blood of a maine coon cat.
She went into the forest on the day of her birth, with Hazecloud beside her. That day, as they passed the lake, she gave birth and died a few minutes after. Hazecloud stayed with her and hid the kit for a two days before she settled in the nursery once again and gave birth to two kits, both of which were stillborn. She took in her best friend's kit, Glacierkit, and said he was her own. She told her mate, Whiteheart, that Glacierkit was, in reality, the kit of her best friend Echosound and never lied to Glacierkit as he grew up, but swore him to secrecy.
When Glacierpaw was eight moons old, he and the rest of a LakeClan patrol, including Whiteheart and Hazecloud met a loner who asked for Echosound. When asked why he wanted to know, he said that he was her half-brother, and that his name was Gelding. Hazecloud knew this to be a lie, but didn't give him away. The patrol told Gelding that Echosound had died seven moons ago and he was most distraught.
When they returned to camp, Hazecloud told Glacierpaw that Gelding was in fact his father.
*sticks out tongue*Other:
Gelding was the first name that popped in to my mind. I had no idea what it meant until just now when I looked it up.... I'm to lazy to change it, but I find the name extremely hilarious!
