Short-Description:
Sandy/reddish brown tom with green eyes.Picture: Description:
This tom is of a mixed breed, between Abyssinian and Egyptian Mau, and maybe a strang of another cat. His eyes are a stunning blue color. This tom is a sandy/reddish brown color, with a darker stripe running down his spine to his tail. His forehead is streaked with the darker color as well. Faint, very faint spots of and off sandy brown dot his pelt here and there, and if you look closely you will be able to see it.Personality:
Sweet. The one word to describe him. He might as well be the sweetest cat you have ever met. He has always been fair in his 6 moons of leadership. Duskstar will listen to both sides of the story, no mater what the case is, if it is from stealing a meal, to fighting within the clan. Even with his sweet personality, there is a reverse side. Sometimes these moods swing differently, especially when fighting. He can get very moody, but usually has his sweet personality.History:
Duskstar never knew his parents. They left the day he was born. His mother didn't want a life of mother-hood and his father left her, leaving her heartbroken. Duskstar was the only kit his mother gave birth too, because his sister was stillborn, probably from her depressed state. It was said, that his mother left for another fling, leaving him alone in this cold world, yet he remained happy, knowing his mother would be happy with whoever she went padding off with. Duskstar was alone, at the beginning of Leaf-fall, the beginning of the worst weather in the history of cats. He was left in the hollow of a tree stump, surrounded by leaves. He remained in the stump for three days and four nights. Starved and shivering, Duskstar whined loudly with his last strength hoping to his mother or father would come to his aid.Role Playing Example:
They never did.
Instead a human came. Danilee, a strange 14 year old teen at the time was bumbling about the forest with no purpose. She heard the small, faint cries of what she thought to be child crying. She fallowed the noise to discover me, a helpless, nearly four day old kit. I was starving, and didn't care who came to my aid. "Ooooooohhhh my goodness!!!" She looked about for any parents, knowing that they would not leave a kit like this unless abandoned or a trap. She decided to take a risk and picked me up and took me home with her. She warmed up some milk in a bottle and fed me as I was wrapped in a warm fuzzy blanket.
For most other cats, or kittypets this would be the end of their story, but not mine. It is only the beginning.
I was nearly a half-year old at this time. Strong and healthy, I trotted about the house as if I were the king. I was considered beautiful in a dark, mysterious way. I smiled at this. I glared at my house mates if they went somewhere forbidden by me, like near my toys or my favorite napping corner. Yet I was confused why the other cats in my family feared me like Rine and Indure. Still, there was one that I could play with till hearts content- Nieyumii. I thought of her like a mother or sister to me. I learned from her that both my mother and father had been attacked by rouges and were ripped apart. I cried at this, knowing I would never see them again, even If I have yet to see them.
One Early morning, I was resting in my favorite napping corner in the garden when I was suddenly pounced by a whole group of rouges and my mind flashed to a august night. I was being pounced and killed.
"This is what my mother and father last saw! It will not be what I last see!!!" I cried out, as I say Nieyumii in the window of our nest. Tears were in her eyes, she could not come and save me. I had tears too, and yelped as one rouge teared at my flesh. I cried out and burst from the circle of rouges, tears streaming from my eyes, as I ran, ran for life. I knew I couldn't come back to my home, the rouges knew where I lived. I ran and ran, the cries of the rouges vanished into the distance. They were after me, but after me for what?
I hardly slept that night, and I cried myself to sleep. The harshness of late leaf-fall struck me, and seemed to temporally freeze me. In my mind, I knew I would freeze to death. But the cold grip of death never came. Instead, I awoke to warmness, cats standing around me. I immediately backed up. they were not facing me, and I tried to back out of the den. Long tail swaying in discomfort, I noticed that one has spotted me and I try to vanish from their sight. My efforts are dazed at the crack of wood. Heads turned and one voice spoke out, "Shush little one, come back to bed, you are home now, and safe." how could I trust them? Where they rouges? The softness of her voice, lured me into a unconscious sleep, and I fell into a heap where I stood.
Little did I know, I would grow to trust these cats with my life, and my life for theirs.
It was a sunny morning, and I stood proudly as the leader Grassstar called me up. This was my day, my day to become a warrior. I received the name, Duskfur. I knew this would change my life, because I have grown to be the most trusted cat within the clan. It wasn't a surprise to me, when Rosestorm, our deputy, left to join the kittypets that I would serve as her successor only two moons after becoming a warrior. Grassstar passed onto StarClan three moons later from greencough, and there, did I become leader, only five moons after becoming a warrior.
A single note rang in the icy silence. A bird had spoke its song, and now it took flight, its wings beating easily as it lifted itself out of the tree and into the sky, out of enemy territory to freedom. The dead silence that followed it added to the blackness that surrounded it. Then a ringing came as a single stick cracked. The soft pattering of feet, dashed, as the squirrel ran, fearful a predator heard his mistake. Then it was silent.Other:
Moving silently, a shape began to take shape. The sandybrown head turned left to right, careful not to be followed by his clan. He had waited until the moon had risen, but it was waning and was not giving much light off for the clouds that surrounded it helped the tom find what he was looking for. He had crept out of his den, and climbed the ancient getaway that Leafpool once used to see her love from WindClan, Crowfeather. The guard had not seen him and he was pleased, but also disappointed. From there he passed quietly threw his land, stopping every now and then to hear if anyone was following him to his meeting with Nighthunter.
Now the sandybrown tom had grown excited for his love was joining him in his home clan. Duskstar himself padded forward his ears pricked his emotions emitting off his fur in waves, he was happy, excited, and also anxious, nervous and scared. Yes Duskstar was actually scared. He hoped his clan would accept Nighthunter into their ranks. He sure hoped that they would understand and accept Nighthunter. Green eyes shined hopefully threw the bracken as he spotted his one true love.
Duskstar, the proud leader of ThunderClan padded forth, his head held high as he padded towards Nighthunter. He looked into her eyes and mewed, "Evening, Nighthunter," The sandybrown tom mewed, his voice filled with love and compassion for Nighthunter.
Nighthunter. 'Nuff said.
