Enter Skagway, Alaska. A beautiful place, where the soft snow is the town's eiffel tower. But even if it's overeggerated, in post cards and in advertizing, it truly is a whole other world- literally. What some people don't notice is a whole different culture, as the stray dogs of Skagway wander the streets in silence. Because a big part of living in the wild means you respect these humans- or else.
But this may be the only rule these wild dogs listen to. Because they are free, living together in a fragile peace. Though survival is important in their lives, other emotions run strong in their veins- passion, strength, love and hate.
Together in these packs, they follow their hearts to wherever it leads them, though never forgetting to keep their friends close and their enemies closer. Although it may seem as if all these dogs get along, none of them miss that extra glance around, that warmth as another dog leans in for support, that flickering glare or just that feeling of being watched. Intuition and instinct are even more important pack rivalry though- and they'll grow to learn that through the peril and joy that is freedom.
