ooc; debating if i should bring in Fernleaf haha.
i quickly turn my head and ears in the direction of the rustling that seemed to come out of no where. i sniff, smelling the strong scent of AirClan as an older she-cat then Mothpaw, possibly a warrior of the clan. Then she started to speak to me, not in an accusatory matter, i could tell that. She was faking it.
"as i explained to Mothpaw, i was merely passing through on my way home. i figured this way would be quicker."
i dip my head in acknowledgement of what she was explaining to Mothpaw and i. It felt like I was a kit being chastised, but only in the clan way.
"good day Whitedream, i'm Soshi."
Then another rustle found it's way to my ear as more of the AirClan scent filled my nose. What was this? All of AirClan come at once? i keep my cool as now an authoritive looking she-cat stepped foreward. i guess i am lucky none that have come where toms, huh. A tom would most likely run me off without a second glance. The cats acted nothing like Mothpaw said they would if they found her.
i dip my head in respect to the new she-cat, as i can tell from her scent she is of higher rank then the apprentice or warrior. Possibly deputy, maybe even leader?
"i mean no harm to Mothpaw, i merely was just walking through. i'm Soshi, by the way."

ooc// Heh, I've got two apprentices I could bring in. XD I wouldn't though, it'd spoil my HUGE muse for Whitedream, like seriously I've been waiting to respond since I posted. And then when I saw the posts when I got hom just a bit ago and my computer died I stood up quickly and headed down here with just the biggest urge to roleplay her, like HUGE it was a stronger pull than I've ever felt to post with any character....I was like WOW. Wow. And wow, I really need a banner for her, her picture's too small though mrawr.
Whitedream turned as Breezestar entered and spoke, she lowered her tail and head slightly almost ashamed, but sad as well. She had truly trusted her life with Hawkstar, she admired him so, and he wasn't with them, though she knew he watched over them from StarClan. She also knew if it weren't for the friendship of Bakari and Hawkstar she wouldn't have met him and she would have never shared the wonderful friendship and then love that she had around him. "Yes Breezestar, I just...I haven't seen a loner in our territory since Bakari left seasons ago." She said softly, her eyes looking to the ground trying to hide the strong emotions she felt for him. She regrouped and looked to Mothpaw with soft eyes. "I'm sorry Mothpaw, it was just my mind at work against me." She said with a soft smile. She had no problem admitting that she was wrong to an apprentice, like some others. When she was wrong she was wrong and she would admit it to whomever she had been misleading. She looked to the three and then finally kept a steady gaze on Soshi.
Finally she found the courage and strength to make the words come out. "Soshi do you know anything of the loner Bakari?" She asked rather shyly, but her eyes were fixated on the loner with and extreme need for some sort of answer, one which she very well knew Soshi may not have. She was certain that Breezestar knew of Bakari and also that Mothpaw did not, but she was also certain that no one had known of their affections except Hawkstar possbly who could have hinted at it. She had the sense in her to know it was forbidden but also the passion to push aside the rules becuase she knew she needed Bakari, she needed news of him, or to be with him to feel whole, to be her full self. She also had known and had made clear she didn't want him to change for her and that she couldn't change for him, as had he. She looked shyly to Breezestar as if she knew her secret was out, but surely she had wondered too why Hawkstar's good friend had not come back to give his grievances after the leader passed. Whitedream had expected him back long ago, he'd promised to be there for her naming ceremony, so she'd long ago been worried for him, but she couldn't let it consume her and take her away from her duties. Just as with Hawkstar's death, no one could let it take them over no matter how much they wanted it to.
Whitedream took her gaze back to Soshi anxiously awaiting any news, even if there was none to tell, at least she had come to ask.

Mothpaw was ever so confused. What was this talk about another cat named, what, Bakari? She tilted her head to the side, wondering if this was something only she didn't know, or if she was being let in on some kind of secret. Clan cats didn't usually have close relationships to loners, but Mothpaw could see that Whitedream had a friendship with this loner that was strong enough for her to be anxious to ask Soshi if she knew anything about him.
Mothpaw turned her bright gray eyes on Breezestar, almost asking silently to give her a hint at what this was. She wanted to read the leaders face and see if there was anything hidden, but she could find nothing, not yet. Another apprentice may have spoken up, may have asked what was going on, but not Mothpaw. She kept her black lips seeled tight and her eyes and ears on full to observe the situation that was unfolding around them. What Mothpaw thought would turn into a bunch of work for herself because she broke the rules, turned into a curious conversation between a searching clan cat and a loner. However, Mothpaw could not hint at the love that Whitedream felt for this tom, she knew nothing of that, she thought it was just a friend looking out for another.

Head tilted slightly to the side as Whitedream tenatively mentioned Bakari. The bengal she-cat had heard of him before, and although never knew him, had heard plent of things about him. Her ears laid back, not knowing if this Soshi was friend or foe of the tom. The last thing Breezestar wanted to do was engage in a fight over a simple dislike, but she'd fight for Whitedream - it was the least she could do.
From her parif, eyes caught sight of Mothpaw staring at her. Breezestar blinked, somewhat dumbfounded, then realized the reason. Silently she swayed her head left, then to the right before stopping and turning to face Soshi again, eyes expectant. Breezestar hoped that her apprentice would catch the hint that her mentor was like her, and in the dark.

"Bakari?"
i say. What would the clan-cat have to do with Bakari? What did ANY of them have to do with him? Maybe it's the reason he's been off and on gone. i shake my head, allowing myself to think. Should i tell her, or hold back?
Out of the corner of my eyes, i see the leader's ears drop. i take a step back, not knowing what this new gesture meant, but I didn't want to convince her i meant any harm.
"I know Bakari."
i say, tentatively. i wasn't sure if the clan cats would attack me over simple information. i didn't know much of their rules and stuff, so i was being very subtle as i could.
"I last some him a couple weeks ago, about half a moon ago. He lived a a few minutes walk away from where I settled down, but lately he's been around and then disappears for a while. I do not know what he does when he's gone, so if he's done anything to you guys, I knew nothing about it."

ooc// Once again, I LOVE YOU SUNRISE. XD I Love the picture, THANK YOU.
Whitedream watched as they all seemed to know nothing of Bakari, neither Mothpaw or Breezestar had ever met him, but he body lifted slightly when Soshi talked. Repeating the name, Whitedream closed her eyes hoping she knew something. Finally, she did know Bakari, her heart skipped a beat as she opened her eyes again. Clawing into the ground Whitedream kept herself still as she listened to the words letting each go through her mind and processing it carefully. So he was still alive, she couldn't believe it, she found that she had been holding her breath tensly as she let it all out and had to regain her balance slightly as she relaxed. What was he doing then? He had been near enough to visit then. The fur on her back rose slightly as she came to be agitated with the tom she missed so dearly. Was he trying to avoid her, and why?
"Oh no, no, no, no. He was a friend of our past leader and a dear friend of mine too. I haven't seen him in seasons and I was worried." She said shaking her head, Bakari would never attack or terrorize AirClan, never. She shook her head slightly and looked back to Soshi. "If you do see him soon could you please tell him that Whitedream is still waiting, or at least send him towards AirClan, if you could." She said, her eyes seemingly desperate for contact with the tom. She couldn't hold back her feelings with the news that he was alive, at least as of a few weeks ago, she wasn't sure how much Breezestar had caught on, but she was sure she got the whole story by now, at least her love for the tom. She felt bad for keeping it, yes, but she would never regret feeling it. It was forbidden, sure, but not as much as between another clan. She couldn't help but feel that Hawkstar had caught on, he hadn't done anything or said anything, though they hadn't admitted to each other what they felt until the night that he had left so long ago. Had he simply forgotten? She couldn't believe that. She couldn't make herself believe it. [/blockquote]

Mothpaw watched for a little bit in silence, but it was all a bit to much for the young she-cat. The day had been quite an odd one, and the sun was just beginning in its downward descent. Her stomach let out a soft growl. She ducked down her head, embarressed, wondering if anybody else had heard the sound. Her interest in the situation unfolding was fading and she found herself gazing around at her surroundings, watching birds and butterflies, instead of listening.
The young she-cat raised herself to her paws, and looked Breezestar. "I hope I'm not being rude," she began, holding her gaze at Breezestar, "but I'm kind of hungry, and tired, and I don't really understand much of this... I was hoping it would be ok if I just went back to camp?" Her eyes were pleading, both in the 'let-me-go' kind of sense, and then 'please-don't-be-angry'. She was still looking at the leader, awaiting her reply. She had tried to be as polite as possible, she just hoped that interupting whatever was going on wasn't offensive to anybody.

How, how could he face her again after all the moons that had come between them? He could remember the day of which he first confessed his love to her, remember how her face was framed with calico patches like patches sewn to a homemade doll. Whitepaw...but what was her name now? After endless moons, if she had not been made a warrior by now the only reason should be that she was gone up to the sky with Starclan...but the thought burned his mind as though acid had singed his thoughts. He placed his paw against the ground, he imagined her stepping softly through the fields of Airclan. He scented a mouse scurrying among the wispy birch trees, he imagined her stalking after it. He mind and thoughts were consumed by her until it finally drove him.
Drove him to come back. Bakari could taste cats on the breeze. Airclanner's, Whitepaw, and loner that he searched his head for the name of. Soshi...? Yes, that was it. He wouldn't be able to go to Whitepaw without the other cats fixing their eyes on him, but he didn't care much, he would do anything to get close to her again, anything.
Bakari padded forward on silent feet until he stood only few fox-lengths away from the cats, hidden behind a thin barrier of overgrown grass and birch trees, swaying back and forth with the wind, as though the breeze were music that filtered through them, an iris beat that vibrated through their roots. Sunlight cascaded down between them, a fountain of light that carved between emerald leaves, dappling the tom's tabby pelt and turning it to gold. A few feet away, a similar effect was playing across Whitepaw's own pelt, accentuating the orange and black with highlights.
Now is the time. On light paws he emerged from the bushes, golden eyes sparkling like gems as he fixed his gaze on the she-cat he had missed for so long. His heart hammered against his rib cage like the wing beats of a frightened dove. In his concionce, he knew the other cats around him would most likely be startled by his sudden appearance, but his eyes were all for Whitepaw. Bakari was sure she had been agitated, and frightened by his long disappearance, but hopefully they could sort out their thoughts.
"Whitepaw...?" His voice was cautious, he did not thoroughly know the dark striped tabby, nor did he know the apprentice that also sat among them, and was unsure what their emotions might be to another loner strolling through into whatever conversation they had been engaged in. Bakari searched the depths of his loves eyes, searching for a crease that would give way into whatever emotions she was feeling.
{OC: I'm calling her Whitepaw because i'm not sure he knows her warrior name yet.: Thanks Black<3}

The rustling of bushes alerted moss colored eyes, darting back before returning to the apprentice. The look her eyes cast begged to be let go and escape from the clearing, warranting a laugh from the bengal leader. "Go ahead Mothpaw. I'll see you back at camp. Something deep within her gut told her that the apprentice should leave soon, yet that danger wasn't around like she thought it to be. The emotion perplexed Breezestar, causing dust-color brows to furrow. The feeling of complecation and infatution swirled in the air waves, tabby head craning up to set moss-colored sights upon the collage of emerald and cerulean and ivory.
The sound of an apprentince being signaled, it called for Breezestar to whip her head back down, eyes alert on the source of disturbance. Rays shafted down, ricocheting off the earth tones of the male who manifested from the shroud of bushes and fern fronds. Ears of the leader flicked forward, brows knit together in silent confusion. Although the sudden manifesto and dangerous-like look about the male was enough to send her animalistic instincts off, her mind protested differently all together. He didn't look dangerous, and by the timid way he beckoned for Whitedream, and set his eyes only on her, the bengal felt the need to turn away or otherwise intrude upon a private moment. However, she couldn't quell the compelling feeling to ask the most obvious question of all. "Who... are you..?" Something rang alarmingly in her head, eyes blinking furiously as if the action would surface the memory. She paused for a few more moments, still silent.
"Bakari?"

As soon as she got the ok, Mothpaw dipped her head to Whitedream, and gave one last long look at Soshi, as if saying "I hope to see you again". And then, before the other tom appeared she turned and walked off into the thicker forest, away from the trees whose leaves whispered to the wind. She was sure she heard something as she stepped away, a rustling of the bushes to her back, possibly a voice of a tom, but she didn't turn back. Her mind was set on camp, where she could pick up a nice plump mouse, sit in the sun, and enjoy the meal. Even though she herself hadn't caught anything, and she hadn't actually worked that hard, she was already tired, well at least mentally she was. On her second day out in the forest she had met a loner, something some cats don't get to see until their warrior days, maybe not even then. She also learnt of a tom, also a loner, who her dad had been friends with, as Whiterdream had said. It was a lot for her to think about. Maybe she could talk to Breezestar, or Whitedream about it all later...
She lazily made her way back to camp, thinking about the event that just took place.

"Oh, what a relief. I was afraid I'd have to stick up for the mousebrain."
I laugh, letting my voice stop the tensions that were building inside me. I relaxed, a slight nod to Mothpaw as she walked away from the clearing. It was obvious to me that she didn't want to be in on this, for she knew nothing that was going on. Then he walked in.
"Bakari, it's nice seeing you again."
I say, just seconds before he tentively spoke to Whitedream. Whitepaw? Was that her apprentice name? I flick my tail in hello to the tomcat, I myself not have seen him since quite some time.

Whitedream smiled slightly as Mothpaw asked to leave and Breezestar nodded. It would only have been cruel to make her stay. She directed the smile to Soshi as she spoke. It was really only a half smile. Se was thinking, her mind at work about why he hadn't come and as she thought she could swear his scent was floating around her softly, she could smell it. 'Whitepaw?' She looked up stunned. Her eyes went wide staring at him. Bakari was there. She was frozen in place, not even hearing what Soshi and Breezestar said, but as she came to she approached him and gave him a swipe across his face. He fur bristling on end with agrivation. She calmed down quickly and stared into his eyes, "Whitedream." She said softly, her voice hinting at her happiness that had only just started and overwhelmed her momsents after.
Whitedream went closer to the loner and rubbed her side against his, her tail curling around his neck. She couldn't believe he was here. Right here, standing next to her. He hadn't forgotten, he still loved her, she could see it, she could feel it. "Where have you been, you promised to be there for my warrior ceremony." She said softly before backing away and looking to him with sad questioning eyes that were rimmed with a slight dissapointment. It had been almost four seasons since he'd gone. She held his gaze for a moment but her fur bristled as she realized her leader was looking on as well as another loner. She turned sheepishly toward them both. "Breezestar, this is Bakari." She said to confirm her question. Then she turned to Bakari. "Hawkstar passed a few moons after you left, I thought that you'd be back then to see him to StarClan. Breezestar is AirClan's leader now." She explained, feeling a bit selfish for adding about her waiting for him in there, but she couldn't help but say it. She'd been waiting so long, she had almost given up the hope of his return.

Whitedream...It was a beautiful name, one that suited the calico she-cat. Bakari squeezed his eyelids together until white spots bloomed in his vision. How...How could he have missed her warrior ceremony? How could he have missed Hawkstar as he was carried away to Starclan? How...The rogues. It was them. He could remember the smirk in their eyes as he stood before them, their eyes slicing through the shadows and burning holes through his pelt. How had he alluded them? How had he escaped? He could hardly remember now, it had been so long ago... But then, after being held captive he had been free, free to return back to Airclan and Whitedream. But something had held him back. He had been gone so long, was she mate to another cat now? Was she even...Even alive?
Those thoughts held their place at the back of his mind now, but he could feel the burning guilt that he could even consider she would go with another tom. He should have been more loyal to her, he should have been as loyal as she had, waiting all that time for him to return. He could hardly feel the pain as Whitedream swiped her paw across his face, he was purring like thunder and he stroked her fur with his tail. " Whitedream..." He mewed softly. He heard her words but didn't reply for a few moments, he was to caught up. finally, he did reply, though his words were disorientated by the rumbling in his throat. " Your leader, Breezestar? I heard news from others that...that Hawkstar had died, but I didn't really believe it." He paused for a moment, amber eyes clouding with sorrow. " But If Hawkstar chose you to lead Airclan, I'm sure you are a worthy cat."
((Sry for taking so long to post. I remember reading a post where Bakari was captured by rogues...so i'll just go with that =) Ok?))
