Pushing her way through the shoulder-length grass that tugged at her fur, Cascade stopped, with one smoky gray paw poised in the air. Lifting her nose into the sky, she inhaled a deep breath of fresh, grassy air. Deciding that there was nothing interesting for her to investigate so far, Cascade kept on stalking through the grass. She looked unreal, like some cat made her up in their imagination. I mean, how many blue cats are there in this forest? That same thought was surging through Cascade's head, and she came to an answer--Not many, perhaps even none, excluding me. With that thought in her head, she cautiously scratched her way up to an abandoned trunk, surveying the field with her twilight blue eyes. As a small breeze blew past, Cascade shivered, not from the cold, but because she felt so exposed on this trunk. This was not like Moonclan territory at all. Ah well. she thought to herself, crawling into the trunk with the mossy bedding. This is my home now. Right? ~~~ The sudden burst of song from a sparrow jolted Cascade out of her sleep. Letting out a wide yawn, she poked her head out of her "den", into the strong rays of the mid-day sun. Oh, my goodness. I slept in. Cascade thought to herself frantically. A low rumble in her stomach made her realize that she was quite ravenous. Shaking the dry moss off of her pelt, she started scenting the air for any sign of prey beneath the thick carpet of snow.
