Short-Description ;
A grey silver marked she-cat with grey-green eyes.
Picture ;
Description ;
Eclipse; a slightly smaller cat then normal, but few rarely notice, since she tends to care herself with grace and a slight air of confidence about her. She is a lanky female, with long limbs, so she appears to be average in size unless one looks closely; although this is no disadvantage on her part. She is a naturally skinny cat, with little or no fat on her body, only sinewy muscles rippling under her skin, although a few ribs may show here or their, but she is quite healthy. Her tail is average in length, coming to a rounded point like many other cat's tails.
Eclipse's fur is a dark grey; almost to the point of being black if one wishes to see it as that. Silver markings streak from her back, fading into her fur as it reaches her belly, looks a bit like a tabby if seen from above. Her fur appears to be a mix between short and long, creating an odd coat where the fur in short in some places, and long in others. From the base of her neck, the fur down her spine giving the appearance that she has a mane of sorts; the fur upon her tail relatively long too. The long fur makes the short fur around her neck a bit longer, but not to the point of being noticed quickly. The rest of her fur is short, and easily groomed; her entire coat cleaned well, with a healthy shine to it. Eclipse takes great care of her claws, almost regularly sharpening them on tree bark and taking great care not to lose and claw. She will use them to rip at vanuable areas, her cruel personality pushing her to rip her opponent to ribbons. Her face is triangular, but holds a bit of roundness within it. Most of her face is a dark grey, save for a streak of silver stripes starting at her forehead, streaking back to the 'mane' down her back, blending into the grey fur.
Eyes are said to be the windows of the soul, peeing into the depths of one's essence. Eclipse's eyes almost always appear glazed over, all emotion taken from them, a wall placed behind them, protecting her from any curious cats. Her eyes are a brilliant shade of grey-green, flecks of gold and hazel speckled all over her iris, a slight tint of onyx to them, but barely noticeable. Her eyes seem to always be judging when she looks at another cat, but emotions are never show. Never. Her ears are triangular in shape, a few tatters in her left ear, her right ear completely intact. She carries many scars on her body, most invisible and hidden away under her fur, the most prominent scar was one going down over her left eye, missing her eye, the scar going down to her chin, showing what a hard life she had lead before.
Personality ;
Eclipse is a cautious and untrusting cat. She rarely trust others; assuming that everyone is guilty until proven innocent. She is a withdrawn feline, and she rarely ever speaks, preferring silence to noise, and even if another tries to engage her in conversation, she will completely ignore them; as if they didn't exist. She doesn't go out of her way to avoid others, but she doesn't try and find them either. She tends to remain neutral with many things, although her belief in others intentions always seem to be driven by a dark motive. Perhaps she has other strong beliefs, but since she rarely meets, or speaks to other cats, this is unknown. Eclipse rarely gives up her secrets easily, and has a massive amount of will power; whether it be used for protecting herself or resisting another cat.
Eclipse may not seem like a cruel cat at first glance, but once her mask begins to shatter, it becomes clear that she is not what she seems. Oh yes, she may seems calm and collected, rarely speaking, but nothing to off. But when pushed to the edge, Eclipse seems to magically change personalities, when in reality, she is just showing who she is on the inside. A mentally unstable individual. Oh yes, she is insane, and she is cruel and sadistic. She enjoys the rush of killing, and she feels no regret of who she has killed, and in what remains of her mind, their is little compassion or love. Only hate and rage reside within this cat.
But, she is good at concealing it, controlling her emotions almost to the point of not seeming to have any at all. She almost always remains emotionless, with little change in her voice or on her face, the only sign of a change perhaps in a flick of an ear, or a swish of the tail, but she can control her body, concealing her emotional state there as well. She does not believe in Starclan, believing that the many cats who believe in such hogwash simply are weak and feeble. Ditto for clans as well, but she views herself separate from the Shadowclan, even though she is part of it. Emotions to her are a sign of weakness, and she is terrified of being weak, and she views emotions in others as weakness. Compassion, love, kindness; all weakness to her.
History ;
Eclipse is the only child of a rouge named Onyx, and a kittypet named Cassie. Her mother was a purebred silver tabby, a beautiful and graceful she-cat. Cassie lived the good life from her birth, sheltered in a house were the wind could not touch her, were she was safe from the snow of winter. She was an intelligent cat, as kittypets go, but she was naive to the world outside of her eden. She was never let outside, preferring to relax within the comfort of pillows and couches, but as she grew older, the wilderness began to call to her. She knew not what lay outside, but she managed to slip out as her owner was coming home, escaping into the forest nearby. Cassie soon came to learn that Mother Nature was harsh and unforgiving to those who could not adapt, and Cassie returned home after a particular stormy and cold night, but nature still called to her.
Onyx was another story completely. A rugged rouge who lived life from second to second, he was a ruthless tom who lived by his wits. He had been born into this life, and had learned from his mother that kindness would not help him survive, his own mother chasing him for many hours out of the place he had been born. He grew, quickly learning that his mother had been right, and adapting as many rouge had done before him. He was a dangerous cat, but with a charismatic charm to him, which often got him out of situations that other rouges might be trapped in, using his wit and charm. He had created a small home territory near the home of Cassie, neither of them knowing about the other, oblivious to what might happen.
Onyx saw Cassie first, the silver tabby perched upon the wooden gate surrounding her home, looks restless and agitated. Onyx thought nothing more of this she-cat; after all, she was just a stupid little kittypet, and he soon forgot about her quickly. Cassie had notice Onyx when he had seen her, and she had fallen in love at first sight. The kittypet became obsessed with seeing him again, tailing him constantly whenever she got the chance, Onyx usually ditching her as he entered the thick woods. Onyx, feed up with the kittypet tailing him, finally confronted her as she tailed him, hissing and spitting at her. She was startled, but mustered up the little hate and anger in her body, and hissed at him, surprising Onyx quite a bit. The tom thought all kittypets to have no back-bone, but this she-cat had surprised him.
Onyx began to approach Cassie more often, Cassie quite glad to see him. Onyx was still cautious around him, and mostly indifferent, keeping his emotions locked up, Cassie usually cooing over him whenever she could. Cassie admired him, thinking him as such a clever and charming tom, Onyx having no knowledge of his blood and violent past. Onyx loved the attention that he received from Cassie, although he rarely spoke of it, remaining quiet most of the time. Finally, Cassie became pregnant and gave birth to three kits, two male, one females. The two males died shortly after birth, but the female known that would be named Eclipse survived.
Onyx's view upon Cassie shifted drastically, now viewing the kittypet as weak, giving birth to three kits, only one surviving. Cassie wanted to raise there kit in the twolegs home, Onyx reacting physically violent at this. They spat and hissed at one another, the little 8 moon old Eclipse unaware of what might happen to her. Onyx and Cassie argued, and Onyx, unable to control himself, finally lashed out at Cassie, clawing and biting at her until she was unmoving, leaving her their and taking his kit away from the darned twolegs. Onyx felt no reget from what he had done, quickly forgetting about the she-cat named Cassie. Eclipse was young, and he raised her as best he could, but when she was 12 moons old, Onyx deemed her fit to be on her own, and chased her from his territory, much like his mother had done to him.
Eclipse wandered, learning the harsh unwritten rules of the wild; live to survive, survive to live. Her mind began to spit, do to unknown causes, and she became even more cruel and sadistic, slowly learning that many viewed her as a dangerous and wild she-cat. She began to mask her mental instability, allowing them to believe that she was no threat to them. They would let their guard drop, and she would sneak in for the kill. She finally ventured closer and closer to were to the four clans, and has observed the clans slowly, but surely crumbling away as the diease crept into their minds.
Role Playing Example:
Tail flicked slightly as she continued her stroll, padding softly. She did not particularly like the smell, but she could ignore it, like she ignored many other things. Her own nest was on the outskirts of the main garbage heap, dug into the garbage like many others. She had lined it with moss she had found in the park, rotting remains of bird and mice scattered in her nest; left to be eaten for later. Her 'leftovers' stained the moss and her fur with blood, but she had a tendency to horde food, even though many did not dare to go near her or her nest. She was unsure if the other clan members were afraid of her...or if they were just indifferent. She hoped that it was fright more then indifference.
Perhaps they had seen her kill animals and opponents with sadistic behavior and cruel killing methods? No, she usually hunted alone, and when she did kill others; usually kittypets or loners; she killed alone. She allowed the subject to drop to the back of her mind, looking up towards the moon in the sky, large silver disk reflected back in her glazed eyes. She roostered her head to the side, the scent of another she-cat wafting over to her. She showed no sign that she sensed the other's presence. She had no idea who this cat was, nor did she particularly care. She had not given her name to the other cats, nor had they offered her their names. She glanced over her shoulder, staring at the other she-cat for a long moment.
Not a very large cat, nor very dangerous looking. And the emotions. She saw it in the she-cat's body language, wrinkling her nose in disgust. But one could mistake her distaste at the garbage around her, not disgust for the other. At least she wasn't white. She blinked, and then turned her back on the other, sat down, curling her long tail around her front paws, looking quite content. Her mind began to bring up various ways she could kill the she-cat behind her, mentally grinning at the thoughts. Disemboweling; an easy, but messy way. Neck bite; very quiet and silent way to kill. Yes, if the time came to kill this one, she would do it silently. Whenever the time came that was.
Other:
Eclipse is insane. Deal. Eclipse was not exlied from a clan, and was born into the wild. She is consider a rouge because of her dangerous nature.
