Crowtalon is rather muscular for an AirClan cat, yet he has the sleek and limber build that is found in most of them. He has short black hairs covering his entire body. The only traces of another color on him are his eyes which are a deep sapphire blue like those of his sister, only they are a tad lighter, and his left forepaw which is white. Long ivory claws slide from his three black and one white paws that he keeps sharp. Crowtalon has long legs that allow him to jump over obstacles such as fallen logs or bushels of grass with obvious ease. The hard muscles ripple beneath his short pelt as he runs swiftly over AirClan territory. His long legs help him jump over ditches or across a chasm that one might encounter in the Towering Cliffs. His legs also aid him while chasing down a rabbit or another piece of prey that tries to evaid his grasp.Personality:
A few moons ago, two words sumed up Crowtalon pretty well: aggressive and arrogant. He wasn't exactly the most social cat and was more likely to claw you to bits than have a civilized conversation with you. Crowtalon has little respect for medicine cats for some unknown reason and can't resist against the urge to throw an unnecesarry jibe when he sees one from another Clan. Actually, probably the only cats he will listen to and take orders from are his leader and deputy, maybe a senior warrior, depending on the cat. Crowtalon challenges most decisions and will never back down from an argument. If he feels threatened by a cat, the rest of the AirClan may want to take a few steps back, an argument is sure to come.History:
A few moons ago however, after he discovered Sparrowflight was his sister, she died. The two had become rather close despite their former verbal sparring sessions they had had as apprentices. When she died, his heart broke, he became more reclusive, his temper shortened (that's saying something) and he refuses any offer of help or comfort. His story is tragic and many cats pity him, another thing that angers him.
Crowtalon never knew his parents. His mother came to AirClan one day with her stomach full of kits soon to be born. She gave birth a few hours later and nursed her kits for awhile. The next day, she left but left her two kits in AirClan, never revealing their father.Role Playing Example:
As A kit, Crowtalon, then Crowkit, had ventured from the nursery many times. At one point, he stumbled onto LightClan territory and encountered a few LightClan cats. Needless to say, Crowtalon's arrogance and sharp tongue got him into quite a bit of trouble.
Crowtalon was unaware that the gentle Sparrowflight was his sister, and no one would've believed it due to their opposite personalities. He grew up under the care of a kind she-cat named Frosttoes and his sister had a different foster mother. Thus, the existence of their siblings remained unknown though both foster mothers have since passed away to join StarClan.
After he was given his warrior name, he encountered a tearful Sparrowflight. In a rare moment of tenderness, he learned that she had dreamt of a black cat with a blue eye and a green eye, next to this she-cat were two kits, one brown tabby the other black. She thought the tabby was her. Crowtalon had had the same dream and guesse they were siblings. They asked Hawkstar if this was true, and he confirmed it was. His life improved as he now knew that he had some living kin and he stopped picking on her. They formed a close bond of friendship and rarely left eachother's side. One day, tragedy struck.
A muscular black tom stood in front of a gaping abyss, a brown spotted tabby she-cat stood beside him. Their sapphire hued eyes were the same as the wind blew their fur. "Bet I can leap across the gap!" challenged the black tom. "Betcha can't!" contradicted the tabby. The siblings leaped over the abyss. The black cat made it across with apparent ease. As he turned back, the she-cat's backpaws slipped off the edge. Surprised by the sudden fall, her claws were sheathed and she had nothing to grab onto. With a cry, she fell."Sparrowflight!" cried the black tom as his sister disappeared from view. "Crowtalon!" she cried as she fell, her cry was lost to the wind. Crowtalon leaned over to try and see his sister. He searched frantically before turning away and raced down the slope of the Towering Cliff. "Hold on Sparrowflight! he gasped as ran, a small voice in his head telling him he wouldn't make it. He tripped over a stone and was sent tumbling down the hill. He came to a stop when a bush blocked his path. In a second he leaped to his pwas, fear for his sister lending him speed and strength. Crowtalon raced to the bottom of the abyss where his sister's body had landed, broken beyond repair, yet still just barely alive."Sparrowflight, please. You can't die!" he mewed, scared. Sparrowflight's eyes fluttered open and she gasped. "Crowtalon, it's too late, I see the stars of Silverpelt, I'm sorry, Crowtalon." She let out her final breath and her body lay limp. Should any cat pass by, they would see a black cat hunched over a limp brown spotted tabby coat. The black tom sucked up in his own misery, in a nightmare he would never wake up from.
Since then he has kept mostly to himself and will not tolerate any mean comments about him, his sister or AirClan. He snaps easily and is best to be avoided.
