Stepping into the clearing, he looked up at the rocks. He turned, and waved his clan in. They were the first ones to arrive, and he padded over towards the Coldrock, and settled down, waiting for the other clans to come. He watched his clan as they filed into the clearing going to sit where they normally do.
Knife followed Cedarstar out shortly after he signaled them to come in. He moved over towards the edge of the clearing, where he usually met all the other mutants that had split up and moved to differant clans. This was one night where he could converse with them like they were still one huge family on their own.
The apprentice bounded in, excited for the gathering. He couldn't wait until the other clans came, he wanted to know what they were teaching their own apprentices!

The quite-footed warrior trotted along after Cedarstar and the other cats, tail waving out behind her. Gatherings were always so fun, and she loved being able to have new victims to chat their ears off. Every time she came she remembered her first gathering; all the cats, how the leaders sat on top of the rocks, she had loved it. Now sometimes it could be boring, but she still loved coming every chance she could. It was so interesting hearing about the other Clans. And occasionally she would make a few friends, which in her opinion was a good thing. You could never have too many friends, no matter who they were. Just gave a broader variety of who she could bother.

Darkstar slipped through the bracken. One rebellious burr still remained in her fur from that training day, but... oh well. She turned her head back. All her warriors were still there. Good, because she couldn't afford to lose many more. What would the other leaders think, do? Her fur bristled and she unsheathed the claws. If they thought Lakeclan was weak...
Coldclan was already at the Gathering. She stepped into the clearing, her head high, her normal aura of haughtiness and disdain in place. Her warriors spread out to mingle with the Coldclan cats, and Darkstar jumped up beside Cedarstar. She nodded to him, then surveyed the scene, her eyes narrowed.

"Evening, Darkstar," Cedarstar said, as he turned to face her. LakeClan had been the second clan to arrive, it was quite odd that the other two were taking this long. He returned his eyes to the two clans that had begun merging beneath them.
---
Her orange and white pelt melted between the throngs of the cats who had arrived. She wasn't in the mood to speak, but put on a cheerful face anyways, and settled herself down, a couple tail lengths away from the cats. She'd wait for someone to come to her.

Silentstep watched as LakeClan came in, wondering for a moment where the other two were. Eh! They'd come soon enough, hopefully. Scanning through the cats that had appeared she spotted a white and orange she-cat a few tail lengths away from every one else. Putting on a large grin she strode over to her silently, ears flicking forward, "Why hello there! My name is Silentstep, and who might you be? Isn't it a lovely day to have a gathering?" She began, instantly sitting down and curling her tail around her paws. She had decided not to be quite as annoying today, but that was still a very bright introduction.

Lifting her golden-brown eyes, she looked at the she-cat who had walked over towards here. Silentstep was her name, as she introduced herself to her. She nodded as the she-cat made herself confortable and waited until she was seated before speaking again.
"Hello there, I'm Roseguppy. Yes, yes it does look like a nice time to have a gathering."
She commented, her voice soft as she smiled at the she-cat. Her tail gently flicked as she tilted her head to wait for a response from the she-cat, who, she figured was from ColdClan since she had never seen her in her clan, and her scent was differant from her clan as well. [/blockquote]

Inkstar made his entrance swiftly trusting his clan to be behind him. He held himself well, they had come through, they had newly appointed a deputy and medicine cat and were growing. He headed to the other leaders and tucked himself in cozily. It felt as if they hadn't had a gathering in forever. With a purr he greeted the two leaders. "Evening Cedarstar, Darkstar. I hope you haven't been waiting long." He said blinking once. It had taken him a bit longer than expected to round up his clan to come. AirClan wasn't here yet though, Inkstar was curious, but they still had time. It wasn't too late, but still late enough to wonder what was taking them so long. He was cheerful, he always enjoyed gatherings, they were always so unpredictable.

Dipping his head in respect to the LightClan leader he smiled. "Evening Inkstar, nice of you to join us." He didn't mind the wait, instead he settled himself down. TH eonly clan left to arrive now was AirClan, and it wasn't like them to keep the other clans waiting. Infact, ColdClan rarely was the first one here, but lately they have become the first clan to arrive.
Her footfalls mirrored those of Inkstar's as she trotted in after him. Her pelt let off a warm radiant glow, and she felt happy, no matter what. She seated herself a couple tail-lengths from the leaders and scanned the crowd. The gathering was the one time of the month where she and her old family could catch up on the happenings.

Ivorypaw bounded in excitedly, tripped over a loose stone and rolled towards her brother. She came to a stop with a small, Oomph! and picked herself up, her head held high with dignity as if she hadn't just fallen over. She scampered over to where her brother was and promptly tugged on his ear playfully. I wonder which apprentices will be here, she mewed excitedly, her tail twitching eagerly.
Embercoals padded in shortly after Cedarstar, her paws a few paces behind her daughter's. She held back a small chuckle as the energetic apprentice tripped over a pebble and tumbled down the slight slope. After pausing to make sure her daughter was not injured, she flicked her bright amber gaze up to where her mate stood beside Darkstar and Inkstar. A pity that Sapphire wasn't here, then again, the she-cat was confined to the nursery, she couldn't help it.
His gray and white fur swirled around his paws as he moved behind his Clan, his paws dragging behind him. How he hated large crowds. Clan meetings, Gatherings, they made him feel uncomfortable, awkward, out of place, and that was something he hated. He stood near the edge of the clearing, a scowl on his face, a glare that would scare any creature in his eyes. Nobody would come near him, nobody would talk to him, but some part of him, a tiny, minuscule, minuscule part of him, wished they would.

Inkstar gave a smile back to Cedarstar. He turned his head to see Poison settling in, she'd be able to catch up with her family now. He scanned his eyes over seeing an apprentice stumble in. He purred with a smile recognizing the she-cat. "You're kits are coming along well I see." He purred, flicking his tail at Ivorypaw. He watched Cedarstar with bright eyes. His thoughts were drawn to Poison without him aware of it. He blinked and looked to the she-cat as if to figure out why his thoughts had gone to her. He thought for a moment watching her and then turned back to the leaders. There was another time for personal thoughts. He turned back to the leaders. "I hope nothing too serious has delayed Breezestar." He thought aloud. It was unusual for them to be last, they were normally the first clan there.
Shadowstrike had been sitting towards the edge hoping to catch any of the other mutants as they came in, well particularly Poison. She was friendly, he hoped she'd introduce him to some of the others if they had time. As she walked in and settled down he padded over. "It's good to see you Poison. " He purred with a smile, though he was a bit concerned. None of the AirClanners were out of camp and he wasn't close enough to get a super clear picture of where Breezestar was. He kept his focus on Poison though, if Cedarstar wanted to know where they were he'd know well enough to ask. "How've you been?"

He chuckled as he watched his eldest daughter trip on a pebble, and straighten herself, pretending that no one saw that. "Ah yes, yes indeed." He said, still watchin his daughter before truning back to Inkstar. "Yes, I hope it's not to serious, but then, we'd have something to talk about, no?" He murmured at first, but lifted his voice to a normal talk near the end.
Poison felt the sensation that someone was watching her, and she flicked her ear, before finally turning her head to see who had looked at her. Most of the clans were used to seeing her, so she didn't think it was an unknowing look. She caught the movement of Inkstar's head snapping back to attention with the other two leaders and she puzzled, although a warm feeling rising in her stomach.
Her attention was turned back to Shadowstrike, a slight jump in her movements, because she didn't expect someone to come so soon.
"It's good to see you too, Shadowstrike," She said, responding with a purrr. "I've been better lately, how about you?"

Bleakpaw of Coldclan padded quietly into the clearing. Her tough facade soon faded as she saw all of the cats gathered.More cats than she had ever seen in one place. The young calico felt suddenly shy.She sat near the other apprentices, though far enough away to let them know she did not want to be approached. Her ears swiveled in every direction, trying to catch snippets of all of the conversations. She bitterly watched on as her leader, Cedarstar looked warmly on at his kit.Suddenly she noticed another cat the looked uncomfortable in the crowd. Her own stubbornness made her hesitate for a moment, before she slowly got up and trotted toward the lone, glaring cat. She narrowed her eyes in turn at the grey and white and growled at him "My name is Bleakpaw, and you better remember it when we meet in battle. I might as well have yours so I can gloat later about it."

Dewstream picked his way through the throng of cats' carefully. His white paws picked up eagerly, as he looked around for some other cat to talk to. He, unusually, wasn't it the mood for chatting, but, this was a gathering, the only time a moon where he could have a conversation, that wasn't of some urgency, or threat, with any of the other cats.
It was then, when he realized Breezestar and Airclan had not arrived yet, which was unusual. He settled in a bright edge of the clearing, and focused his eyes up at the Four Rocks. How he longed to be up there. He smiled to himself, rolling his eyes at how mouse-brained he sounded. Leader! Right. In my dreams, he thought to himself, continuing to gaze around the clearing.

Silentstep gave Roseguppy a wide smile, tail now waving on the ground behind her, "So how is LakeClan going? Good I hope, wouldn't want any Clan being in trouble, y'know." She said, keeping her bright and chipper appearance. She cast her eyes over at the other Clan as it came in, frowning some, "I wonder what's keeping AirClan. I hope they're not having any trouble." The siamese said, looking back over at her newly found friend now.

"LakeClan does well, how does ColdClan fare?"
She spoke, looking around the clearing as well. She spotted LightClan slinking in and saw the familiar purple pelt of Poison. She grinned slightly, thinking that it must be nice to have a differant color for fur.
"I wonder too." Murmuring, as she also returned her gaze back to Silentstep and gave her a smile.
