[what makes envy envy;]Personality:
There are two noticeable features about the fierce leader. The first one is her large size; her second is her bright green eyes. She isn't abnormally large compared to the rest of her band. Probably one or two heads above the largest of cats in the band and the loners. The reason of her being leader might have something to do with her size, and the strength that comes along with it. She tends to trick and mess with cat's mind than using her strength. Making sure every cat knows his or her place is one of her top priorities. When introducing herself, Eny will slash her way to gain respect if that is what it takes.
[her keen senses;]
Her bright green eyes is what gave her her name. Her sense of smell is damaged because of her mentor. Pride, her brother, caused a scar on her nose that weakened her sense of smell. Her eyesight makes up for this weakened sense as does her ears too. Her large, bat-like ears are almost always perked forward. One might suspect that her whiskers be long, but they are below the normal length.
[the pelt that causes envy;]
Her coat resembles the ones of the leopards of long ago. With her dark brownish-yellow coat, her large dark spots almost blended with her pelt. The greatest place where the spots, which are in the form of barred marks, is on her forehead. From her back to her stomach is where the decreased in increase in dark spots is. Her underbelly, neck, bottom of her pointed muzzle, and tail are plain white with black spots. The side of her legs that are facing each other are the same way.
[fierce weaponry;]
Silver claws that are contained in her large paws are her most reliable physical weapons. When in a bind, her normal sized fangs are good for something besides delivering a final blow to her prey. Her strong legs provide her an excellant sprint, but she is completely unable to keep up the speed for a long time. In battle, her legs provide her with most of her strength so if she pinned down, she could easily kick her opponent off. Her words and devious mind are her greatest weapon. She can easily trick and turn cats against each other with her smooth talk about hatred and jealousy.
Envy leapts at a chance to cause destruction to anyone. Most of the time she leaves her strength out of it and lets her devious mind do the work. Most of the thoughts she tries to inject in her victims mind are those of envy, doubt, and hatred. One of her joys in life is teaching cats a lesson about herself and the rouge band. This she-cat knows no love. She loves only herself and her band. Toms are just a simple distraction to her. The Blood River has been used much more since she came into power. The shrill yowls of a cat's desperate cries for help that will surely go unawsered is music to her bat-like ears.History:
[hertiage;]Role Playing Example:
Envy has always called the Rouge Band her home. Her parents were both valued members of the band and, along with her brother's birth, it was clear to a majority of the cats that she was destined for greatness. Haku was her father and the only leader Envy knew besides herself. Even though her mother was just a fighter, she was as respected as Haku was. The black and white cat's devious mind couldn't be matched by most of the fighters put together. This lovely cat was known to be quite the nuisance to the clans. She had many names, but she was demanded to be called Lady Tsukeru by her band mates.
[envy & pride;]
Envy was named for her brilliant green eyes and the envious feeling that she caused the other Rouge Band members. Pride, her skilled youngerbrother, was named because of the way he carried himself. There was always the dicussion on who would be the greater cat one day, Envy or Pride. The Rouge Band way stated that if a great dicussion arised, a fight must be displayed to see who is right. So when Pride and Envy were six moons old, they were forced to fight. This battle would not only solve the fight for who was better, but the victor would be mentored by Haki. Every high positioned cat in the Rouge Band was mentored by the deputy or leader so both wanted to win very much.
[results of the battle;]
After the battle was done, the victory added to Pride's large ego. He had a few injuries, but Envy came out with more. Drops of blood came from the scratches that Pride caused and a large clawmark was on her nose. That certainly impaired her sense of smell after that battle. So her slightly older brother was seen as a cat of great talent while she was seen as a she-cat of little importance. She didn't feel too bad about her defeat for she had little to prove. The thought of being her father's learner wasn't very interesting either. The only mentor she wanted was Tsukeru, her mother and greatest role model, but Haki wasn't about to let a weakling be mentored by his love.
[fighting for something;]
Envy was furious. She wanted more than anything to be mentored by her mother. Not some old coot that should of been cast out of the band for his poor skills, silly methods of teaching, and his plain stupidity. It took long hours of talking her father to try to make him see it her way, but her words couldn't sway him. It wasn't until Tsukeru interferred that her only chance was given. If Envy could defeat her mentor in battle, Tsukeru could become her mentor. She had three days to prepare.
[the bond between mother and daughter;]
Basically, Envy was mentorless as she prepared. Her defeat against Pride had crushed her spirits even though she agreed to the fight. Against a more experienced fighter, she was a bit scared to let three days pass. Her mother offered her help. Haki would be furious with her if he found out, but she could see greatness in her. Tsukeru taught her that strength wasn't the only way to win batttles and conquer over foes. The mind games's ways that her mother had played in past were passed down from Mother to Daughter. They dueled with claws and their minds for three whole days. Sometimes Envy even won. Confidence filled her up on the day the battle came. It turned out that Envy overestimated her opponent. His lousy skills had left the young she-cat mind. It was a simple battle. Only a few scratches was on her body while Bagbones had to retire from being a fighter.
[destiny's battle;]
Her moons training with Tsukeru was the best years of her rouge life. She learned alot from the brains of the band. Time passed, and they became fighters. Being favored with the leader, they had their first learner without waiting a long time. Envy was content with the fact that she would turn out as a regular fighter for the Rouge Band for the rest of her days until something interesting happened The Second-in-Command had betrayed Haku. He was exiled from the group so it was time to choose a new second-in-command. Any sane learner or fighter knew that his choice would be Pride, but Haki was questioning his son. He knew that Pride was becoming too thingyy and questioned his abilities as a leader. Pride knew his father's thoughts and challenged his younger sister. This would show Haki his skills and get rid of the competition. The surprise attack failed and Envy and Pride fought, for the last time. After the longest while, Envy was victorious. Haki announced his successor within the following hour.
[rouge band under new management;]
It was a sad day for the Rouge Band when Haku died. Every one respected the cat for the way he died, but Envy wanted revenge. A surprise attack by some of the warriors from the clans. The band and the clans never bothered each other. There was occasions when a Rouge Banner would cross into enemy territories for food. Who could blame them? There territory wasn't exactly huge and food wasn't plentiful. As she became leader of the band, she promised her dead father that she would make them pay.
Her first act as a leader was to banish Pride to a loner until she returned for him. Tsukeru died fighting by her daughter's side, but this did not stop her from keeping the Rouges strong. She wanted an heir. Just like Pride and herself was to Haku. She mated with a tom that was the strongest in the Band. Two kits were born, but things were tough with the lack of food. Only the toughest survive. The male that looked surprisingly like Envy's mother, Tsukeru killed the other one. She kept her single kit safe. Well, until a spy from ColdClan abducted her kit. She hunted down the spy and killed her. Before killing the Warrior spy, she told her that her kit drowned.
Envy's history made it clear what the RougeBand was all about. Without no law, order, or code, battles and blood ruled the group. Some might think that Envy would change this, but she enforces it, she loves, and she lives it.
[ envy's favorite prisoners & her dark secret ; ]
On a simple drink to the water, she was the first to discover the mutants that had found their home in the forest. After a difficult battle, she captured Sky and Weed. She made them suffer as much as possible. Her favorite activity was to feed them only sparrow. The sparrow winged almost starved, and the transforming cat was given a Rouge's mark of Speech. After that, she battled two apprentices. Envy knocked one out, and she escaped with the one called Sandpaw. Later, she learned that this apprentice of Lightningstar was her son. Envy wanted to train Sandpaw to be the next leader. He escaped, taking Sky and Weed with him. Envy couldn't kill, but let them escape, but not without injurying Weed.
